Second First Aid Trainings Held

The Dean's Office of PAU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences organized the second of the basic first aid trainings, the first of which was held last semester, in order to keep the emergency and first aid knowledge of academic and administrative staff up to date.
Pamukkale University (PAU) Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean's Office organized first aid trainings for academic and administrative staff. The second of the trainings, the first of which was held in the Fall Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year, was held on May 9-10, 2023 in the graduate classroom of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
While 24 personnel participated in the first aid training given by Denizli Provincial Directorate of Health, the trainings were carried out theoretically and practically. At the end of the training, participants were presented with a certificate of participation by Denizli Provincial Directorate of Health and were given a first aid ID card.
Regarding the trainings organized, PAU Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Yasemin Beyazıt pointed out that learning first aid practices and keeping first aid skills up to date is one of the most important measures that can be taken to prevent harm to the people around us in emergencies that may occur, and emphasized the importance of such trainings. Prof. Dr. Beyazıt stated that after the recent earthquake disaster, the importance of each individual being trained in both search and rescue and first aid training has increased even more and thanked the staff who participated in the trainings.
