Pamukkale University Achieves Top Rankings in Various Fields in YÖK's 2024 Report
Pamukkale University (PAU) has stood out with its remarkable achievements in various fields, as highlighted in the "University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report-2024" prepared by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
The "University Monitoring and Evaluation Report" prepared by the
Council of Higher Education (YÖK), which evaluates 201 universities in Türkiye
based on 64 indicators across 5 areas, highlighted Pamukkale University (PAU)
for its exceptional performance in various categories. The report emphasized PAU’s
active involvement of both students and academic staff in academic, social, and
cultural fields.
According to the report, PAU is among the leading universities in Türkiye,
excelling in areas such as social responsibility, club activities, e-resource
availability, success in international exchange programs, and meaningful
initiatives for disadvantaged groups.
8th in Social Responsibility and Club Activities Leadership
Pamukkale University ranked 12th in Türkiye for the 173 social
responsibility projects initiated by its students. Additionally, with 193
student clubs, PAU is ranked 8th among universities with the most student
clubs. The university also placed 15th for its student participation in social
and cultural activities, with 25,730 students involved in clubs.
Top 5 in Library E-Resources
PAU’s extensive library resources were also recognized in the report, with
the university ranking among the top 5 in Türkiye for the number of e-resources
available in its libraries.
PAU in the Top 20 for Internationalization
In terms of internationalization, PAU ranked 20th in Türkiye for the number
of faculty members and students participating in international exchange
programs.
18th in Meaningful Work for Disadvantaged Groups
Pamukkale University’s efforts to raise social awareness were further
underscored by its 18th place ranking for activities aimed at disadvantaged groups
across Türkiye.
