Pamukkale University (PAU) continues its collaborations with numerous universities in European Union (EU) countries under the Erasmus+ KA131 program. As a result of these efforts, PAÜ has secured a spot among the top 15 universities in Türkiye receiving the highest Erasmus+ grants.

Pamukkale University (PAU) has achieved significant progress under the Erasmus+ KA131 and KA171 programs, thanks to initiatives aligned with the internationalization vision of Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan. In recent years, PAÜ has expanded its partnerships beyond Europe through the Erasmus+ KA171 program, signing agreements with leading universities in countries such as the United States, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Algeria, the Maldives, Sudan, and Somalia.

Following comprehensive efforts under the Erasmus+ KA171 program, including student and staff mobility initiatives, the Turkish National Agency has granted a nearly 70% increase in funding after the 2023 interim report. This financial support will enable PAU students, academic staff, and administrative personnel to participate in international mobility programs on a broader scale in 2025 and 2026.

The increased funding from the National Agency underscores the effectiveness of PAÜ’s strategic steps toward internationalization. It strengthens the university’s global academic partnerships and contributes to the sustainable support of international academic mobility. With this enhanced financial foundation under the Erasmus+ KA171 program, Pamukkale University continues to expand its presence in the global academic arena.
