Faculty of Law Faculty Members Attend 4th Judiciary Reform Strategy Document Promotion Meeting
On Thursday, January 23, Pamukkale University (PAU) was represented by Faculty of Law teaching staff, Res. Assist. Dr. Elif Selen Batıgün and Res. Assist. Ekrem Caner Kibar, at the 4th Judiciary Reform Strategy Document Promotion Meeting held at the Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
On January 23, during the 4th Judiciary Reform Strategy Document Promotion Meeting at the Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared the new Judiciary Reform Strategy Document for the 2025-2029 period with the public. The event was attended by representatives from high judicial bodies, legal professionals, and academics.
The reform package, aimed at strengthening the rule of law, enhancing the efficiency of the justice system, and expanding individuals’ freedom to seek justice, includes significant topics such as speeding up judicial processes, digital transformation, reinforcing legal security, and raising human rights standards. President Erdoğan emphasized that the main goal of the reform is to establish "a fair, transparent, and reliable judiciary system." He noted that the process would be carried out with the contributions of the legal community, academics, and relevant institutions, with the reforms shaped through a broad consultation process. Furthermore, he discussed topics such as enhancing the quality of legal education and digitalization, offering a comprehensive vision for the future. President Erdoğan emphasized that the reforms would strengthen the impartiality of the judiciary, facilitate access to justice, and accelerate judicial processes, highlighting that the contributions of all segments of society would bring significant innovations to the justice system.
