Poetry Recital for the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Turkiye and 100 Works of Art for the 100th Anniversary Held at the Faculty of Education
Pamukkale University (PAU) Faculty of Education organized a 'Special Poetry Recital for the 100th Anniversary of our Republic' and a visual arts exhibition titled '100 Artworks in the 100th Year' within the scope of the 100th anniversary of our Republic.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan, together with Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Ali Değirmenci, attended the "Poetry Recital of the Republic Poets Special to the Centenary of the Republic" event organized by the Faculty of Education and the exhibition titled "100 Artworks in the 100th Year".
The first of the events was held in Melek Sözkesen Hall of the Faculty of Education, with the participation of Pamukkale University Faculty of Education Lecturer Havva Ergür, a faculty member of Pamukkale University Faculty of Education, who is the advisor of the community and the director of the event, and the members of the Poetry Community of PAU Department of Health, Culture and Sports (SKS) performed the poems of veteran poets. Speaking at the end of the event, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan expressed his gratitude to those who contributed to the organization of the evening and thanked the advisor of the Poetry Society, Lecturer Havva Ergür, who was presented with a plaque by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan.
At the event, Poetry Society Advisor Lect. Havva Ergür performed for the first time a poem written by Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan, who put his sorrow on paper due to the massacre in Palestine.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan, who received information about the works, pointed out that the students' works can be transformed into scientific studies within the scope of PAU Undergraduate Student Participatory Research Project and said that he is very hopeful for our future from our youth as our Republic enters its second century.
