'Modern Physics and Advanced Technologies' Panel Organized
"Physics, Modern Physics and Advanced Technologies Panel" was organized by Pamukkale University (PAU) Faculty of Science, Department of Physics within the scope of 100th Anniversary Events.
'Modern Physics and Advanced Technologies' panel started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem. The opening speeches of the panel were made by Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof. Dr. Yakup Kaska and Head of the Physics Department Prof. Dr. Sevgi Özdemir Kart.
Dean Kaska: "We are very happy that the Hand in Hand Project increases the relations and coordination between departments and also contributes to student-academician meetings"
Dean Prof. Dr. Kaska: "I would like to thank the department and the panelists and also the participants for this panel organized by the Physics Department within the scope of the 100th anniversary of our Republic. Although the Faculty of Science, which was established as a result of the division of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, is a new faculty, it continues to contribute to science with all its departments in this short time and will continue to do so. We are making great efforts to modernize all the educational environments of our faculty, both classrooms and laboratories. With today's panel, I would like to share with you the information that all our departments will continue their scientific activities without interruption. We are also happy that the Hand in Hand Project, which we started in the past months, will increase the relations and coordination between departments and also contribute to student-academician meetings. Thanks to this project, I believe that with the increase in the coordination of our academicians, we will announce the name of our Faculty in much larger scale projects."
After Dean Prof. Dr. Kaska, Prof. Dr. Özdemir Kart, Head of the Department of Physics, made an opening speech and talked about the importance given to science by the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his very important words on this subject, mentioning the very important scientists who have left their mark on history and especially academicians in the field of physics in Turkey; He talked about their contributions to science by mentioning their projects and works.
Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Adak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cumhur Gökhan Ünlü and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Adak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cumhur Gökhan Ünlü and Prof. Dr. Özgür Önder Karakılınç participated as panelists and the event ended after the question and answer session.
