Emergency and Disaster Management Program Students Become "Support AFAD Volunteers"

After completing the Basic AFAD Volunteer Training Program online, Serinhisar Vocational School Management Organization Department, Emergency and Disaster Management Program students became "Support AFAD Volunteers" by successfully completing the applied training program given by Denizli Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate personnel. During this process, Denizli Provincial AFAD Director Ali Etiz, Provincial AFAD Planning and Mitigation Branch Manager Dr. Fatma Canaslan Çomut, Provincial AFAD Training Branch Manager Hüseyin Erbeyi also came together with the students.

Encouraging students to volunteer and closely following the process, Lect. Mehmet Kozyel, Lect. Burcu Özkan and Lect. Didem Ecer stated that they took part in the whole training process with the students and encouraged them to become 'Support AFAD Volunteers' in order to increase their knowledge and skill levels with professional teams in the field and to raise them as individuals who are beneficial to the society in case of a possible disaster.

Emergency and Disaster Management students studying in the first and second year in cooperation with Denizli AFAD became Support AFAD Volunteers by completing the necessary training programs. At the end of the training program, the students expressed their happiness for being "Support AFAD Volunteers".
