Creative Ideas Compete in "AD Project" at PAU

Organized by the Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Publicity, "AD Project: Creative Ideas Compete" started on Wednesday, January 11th with the opening ceremony held at Pamukkale University Faculty of Communication Hierapolis Conference Hall. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Ali Soylu pointed out the importance of this traditional event for the faculty and thanked the faculty members and students who organized the event. After the opening speech, a conversation titled "Here Advertising is Talked" was held under the moderation of Faculty of Communication faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Bozkurt, with the participation of ASKON Demir Çelik- Corporate Communication Manager İsmail Serbest, AYDEM Renewable Energy-Corporate Communication Specialist Gülsu Yaşar and The Santral Agency-Art Director Özkan Önder as speakers. In the interview, evaluations were made on the communication sector and sustainability. The guests also talked about their professional experiences and gave advice and suggestions to the students.
On Friday, January 13th, students from the Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Publicity presented the projects they prepared throughout the semester in the categories of advertising campaign design, online advertisement, social media advertisement, print advertisement, outdoor advertisement and TV script. The event ended with an award ceremony on the same day.
The competition, which was held at Pamukkale University Faculty of Communication Hierapolis Conference Hall between January 11-13, ended with the presentations of the 5 finalist projects and the award ceremony.
At the award ceremony held after the final presentations, first of all, plaques of appreciation were presented to Alper Şahin, the founder of Marcovisa Agency, who contributed to the realization of the event, and Özkan Önder, the art director of The Santral Agency. Then, the students who ranked among the contestants who presented their works in the categories of advertising campaign, internet, social media, print, TV script and outdoor were given their awards. The event, in which the students of the Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Publicity experienced exciting moments, ended after the award ceremony.
