"Conversation and Workshop on Boutique Pastry" Organized by Tavas Vocational School Culinary Program

Pamukkale University (PAU) Tavas Vocational School Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services, Culinary Program organized an interview that brought together boutique cake designers working in Denizli and Culinary Program students.
Nahide Erkan, Founding President of Denizli Boutique Pastry and Entrepreneurial Women's Association and also a student of the Culinary Program, Pastry Designer Nilgün Egemen, Pastry Designer Burçin Gayret and Pastry Designer Keziban Çeliköz moderated the conversation with the participation of Sinan Çivi, a second year student of the Culinary Program. Students had the opportunity to get to know the sector closely by asking the questions they wondered about boutique pastry to valuable chefs.
At the end of the interview, cake designer chefs held a workshop on sugar paste figure making techniques with the students of the Culinary Program. PAU Tavas Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Parlaz, especially for his contributions to the realization of the event, thanked the instructors of the Cookery Program, Lecturer Dr. Sinem Türk Aslan and Lecturer Figen Yüce, guest cake designers, students who participated in the event and everyone who supported the event.
