Awareness Trainings Held at Çardak OIZ Vocational School

AFAD Awareness Training was given by Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate personnel Hayriye Tümbay and Savaş Kaşıkçıoğlu at Çardak Organized Industrial Zone Vocational School (Çardak OIZ Vocational School).

What is a disaster and how does it occur? What is an earthquake, what is earthquake magnitude (difference between intensity and magnitude)? What are structural risks and non-structural risks? What are the correct behavior models before, during and after an earthquake? How to increase individual response capacity and skills? What is a disaster plan? What is a Disaster and Emergency Kit? How should we behave during a disaster? What is a disaster gathering area? What should be done after a disaster? Basic knowledge and concepts about earthquake and earthquake preparations were explained to the students in the trainings held at the Çardak OIZ Vocational School Conference Hall.

AIDS Awareness Training was given to Çardak OIZ Vocational School Students

Another training organized for Çardak OIZ Vocational School students was AIDS Awareness Training. In the training organized in the Çardak OIZ Vocational School Conference Hall, presentations were made by Çardak District Integrated Hospital health personnel Midwife Suna Adanalı, Nurse Dilek Zengin, Nurse Erdoğan Hazan and Nurse Zehra Azatcam.

What is AIDS? The importance of early diagnosis? What are the transmission routes? In the training where general information about the ways of protection was given, information was also given about HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), a virus that is transmitted through blood and unprotected sexual contact and can settle in various tissues of the body, but shows its main effects on the immune system.
