Disabled Table Tennis Players Represented PAU in African Championship

Representing PAU at the championship held on September 20-23, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Baskan said, "It is very important to make medical and functional evaluations of athletes in order to ensure that athletes in different disability groups can play sports in a fair environment. For this reason, classifiers are in a very sensitive position in disabled sports and their number is quite low at the international level. It is of great importance for me to represent my country and my university on this and similar platforms."  

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre Baskan has been working as a Physiotherapist for the Physically Disabled Table Tennis National Team, ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) International Classifier and ETTU (International Table Tennis Union) Commission Member for many years.
