In the ceremony held in Prof. Dr. İsmail Çetişli Conference Hall, the Kazakh tradition of "tusav keser" or "köstek kesme (cutting a ribbon)" was performed. The ceremony started with the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Yasemin Beyazıt, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The opening speeches were delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Süleyman Tüzün, retired from the faculty and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Akalın's speeches.

In his speech, Pamukkale University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Akalın stated that the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences carried out important activities in the 100th anniversary of the Republic, that he congratulated the editors and authors for the books written within these, and that these studies are very important for the formation of institutional memory.
