PAU Sports Hall Hosts Turkish Swimming Federation 12 Age National Development Project Turkey Championships

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Denizli Governorship, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Pamukkale University and the coordination of Denizli Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, 'Turkish Swimming Federation 12 Age National Development Project Turkey Championship' will be held at Pamukkale University (PAU) Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Sports Center.
Pamukkale University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Akalın attended the opening program of the swimming championship, where about six hundred athletes will compete in competitions organized in different styles for three days (1-3 December 2023).
The opening program of the competitions continued with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, followed by folk dances and zeybek show. Pamukkale University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Akalın and Denizli Youth and Sports Director Ömer İlman made the opening speeches of the program. After the opening speeches, medals were presented to the athletes who won the first competitions.
12 Age National Development Project League Swimming Turkey Final 4x50m winners in female competitors; 4th place team Galatasaray Sports Club was presented their awards by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Serhat Akbulut, 3rd place team Uludağ Olimpik Sports Club was presented their awards by Triathlon Federation President Bayram Yalçınkaya, 2nd place team Enka Sports Club was presented their awards by Denizli Youth and Sports Provincial Director Ömer İlman, 1st place team IBB Sports Club was presented their awards by Pamukkale University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Akalın. In the male competitors; 4th place team Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club was presented the award by PAU Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Sports Center Assistant Director Assoc. Prof. Ayşegül Yapıcı, 3rd place team Enka Sports Club was presented the award by School Sports Branch Manager Mesut Gökbulut, 2nd place team Galatasaray Sports Club was presented the award by GSB Provincial Directorate Sports Activities Branch Manager Mahmut Kuruoğlu, 1st place team Fenerbahçe Sports Club was presented the award by Denizli Youth and Sports District Director Durmuş Cansever.
