PAU SBF Hosts a Conference on 'Physical Education and Sports in the 100th Year of the Republic'

The conference started with the opening speeches of Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Yunus Arslan and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Akalın, moderated by Prof. Dr. Gökçe Erturan, and continued with the presentation of Prof. Dr. Gıyasettin Demirhan.

While the conference titled "Physical Education and Sports in the 100th Year of the Republic" was attended by the majority of the faculty students, Prof. Dr. Gıyasettin Demirhan emphasized the important periods in Turkey's sports history and discussed in detail the role of physical education and sports in the 100-year adventure of the Republic. Prof. Dr. Demirhan, who revealed the social and cultural effects of sports to the participants, completed his presentation by answering questions from the audience with an interactive presentation.
