PAU HAYAT and PAU TOHSAM Visit the Retired Animals Farm in Bursa

Pamukkale University Animal Understanding Society (PAU HAYAT) and Pamukkale University Community Service Practices Social Responsibility Application and Research Center (PAU TOHSAM) recently organized a trip themed 'The Importance of Animals in Our Life and Nature'.
Within the scope of the Bursa trip planned to increase the awareness of PAU students on animals, visits were made to HAYTAP (Animal Rights Federation) Retired Animals Farm and Nilüfer Municipality Animal Care and Treatment Center.
Within the scope of the trip, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Cihan introduced Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Hospital to the students and explained the negative effects of environmental factors (including human effects) on animals.
After visiting the Nature Birds Museum and Bird Observation Tower in Eskikaraağaç European Stork Village, a short nature walk was made on the island. Within the scope of the trip, the students also completed the trip by seeing the Weeping Sycamore, historical mills and churches or taking a boat tour.
Emre Karaca, President of PAU Hayat Student Group, stated the following about the trip: "In addition to being a very entertaining trip for us, we would like to thank them for the energy of our friends who participated and made us happier. Our professors Prof. Dr. Seçil Erökten, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uğur Sönmezoğlu and Dr. Asiye Bahtiyar who did not leave us alone during the trip. In addition, we would like to thank Pamukkale University Health, Culture and Sports Department, Administrative and Financial Affairs Department, Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Dean's Office and Uludağ University Health, Culture and Sports Department for their support."
