“Our Success Stems from the Synergy of Our Faculty, the Dedication of Our Academics, and the Efforts of Our Students”
Before the winners were announced, the Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Prof. Dr. Ali Soylu, took the floor and stated that he had attended some of the presentations, found them highly successful, and felt proud of the students. Thanking everyone involved in the organization of the event, Prof. Dr. Soylu said:
“It was a very successful event. The messages conveyed in the projects, the methods used, and the videos were, from what I observed, very impressive. Some of our company representatives also watched the presentations and stated that they saw very new, different, and inspiring ideas. A few of the companies that attended even established communication among themselves, because truly strong projects were presented. We were genuinely pleased and proud of this. Eight years ago, we started this initiative under modest conditions with the idea of adding some excitement to our courses, enhancing our students’ creativity, and rewarding these efforts. The event we created has now become a tradition of our faculty and is held every semester. As you know, organizing an event every semester is not easy. This success stems from the synergy of our faculty, the dedication of our academics, and the efforts of our students. We have established our laboratory, participate in various activities, apply for competitions, and strive to educate and develop our students in the best possible way.”
Prof. Dr. Ali Soylu concluded his remarks by stating that they would continue to make efforts to enhance the faculty’s vision and mission, particularly in terms of international agreements.
During the award presentation, Associate Professor Yasemin Bozkurt, the instructor of the Advertising Campaign Design course, also took the floor and thanked everyone who contributed to the process. She stated, “I believe that through this process you have come to better understand that advertising is not merely about selling a product. This process means creating a story and including other people within that story. Creativity is the most critical element of this process.”
The event concluded after the photo session.
