Erasmus+ Exchange Program Agreement Signed Between PAU and the University at Albany–State University of New York (SUNY)

Continuing its strategic collaborations in line with its internationalization vision without slowing down, Pamukkale University (PAU) has taken a significant step that will further raise the bar in education and research. PAU has signed a comprehensive Erasmus+ (KA171) inter-institutional exchange agreement with the University at Albany, which is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system—one of the most prestigious university systems in the United States.

As part of SUNY, one of the oldest public university systems in the United States, the University at Albany is positioned among the world’s leading research centers with its “Very High Research Activity” (R1) status. Known for its large-scale international projects and strong academic infrastructure, the institution has a global impact through its standing in respected world rankings such as U.S. News & World Report and Times Higher Education, as well as its innovative research particularly in the fields of public administration, cybersecurity, nanotechnology, and atmospheric sciences.

 

The agreement, which will significantly boost Pamukkale University’s international academic visibility, enables academic staff in 21 new departments to participate in mobility for training and teaching. Implemented to support international academic mobility, the agreement offers wide-ranging opportunities—from academic exchanges to joint research projects, from virtual learning models to internship programs.
