The ceremony was attended by Mahmud Güngör, Rector of Pamukkale University; businessman Halil Pekdemir, President of the Denizli Faculty of Theology Construction and Sustenance Association; Board Member and former Member of Parliament Salih Erdoğan; businessmen Mehmet Serter and Mehmet Öztürk; CPA Birtan Şahan; Founding Dean Ali Yılmaz; Rector’s Advisor and Vice Dean Mustafa Türkan; Secretary General Fatih Işık; and Deputy Secretary General Serdar Selman Savran. Dean of the Faculty of Theology Osman Mutluel, Vice Dean Fatih Topaloğlu, academic staff, and students were also present at the ceremony.

 

The ceremony began with a recitation of the Holy Qur’an by fourth-year Faculty of Theology student Enes Gündoğdu. The program continued with opening speeches by Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Osman Mutluel, President of the Denizli Faculty of Theology Construction and Sustenance Association Halil Pekdemir, and Rector of Pamukkale University Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör.

 

In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör stated: “I wish these computers to be beneficial for all of you. May Allah grant you all success. May your path, heart, eyes, and minds be open, my friends. May our Lord make us all true servants to Him. May He make us, in the best manner, members of the ummah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), our crown, our sultan of hearts, and our sole guide, inshallah. I extend my respects to all of you.”

 

Laptop computers were presented to the 10 most successful students who preferred the Pamukkale University Faculty of Theology during the 2025–2026 preference period. The ceremony concluded after a group photo session.
