As part of the project, on December 17, Acıpayam Vocational School students visited classrooms at the primary school and provided training on home safety to primary school pupils. Aiming to raise awareness of home safety among their younger peers, the vocational school students informed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students about potential hazards they may frequently encounter in a home environment. During the activity, risk factors for children—such as medicines, cleaning products, electrical outlets, sharp objects, matches, and lighters—were addressed through age-appropriate and easily understandable content.

In the project conducted under the responsibility of Lecturer Dr. İkbal Vurucu, reflective presentations prepared by university students and artificial intelligence–supported educational animations were used. Through the interactive activity, students were informed about recognizing hazardous objects, staying away from them, and developing appropriate behaviors.

Officials stated that the project aims to develop risk perception and safety awareness in children at an early age, while also contributing to the prevention of household accidents by transferring the acquired knowledge to families. The activity was completed with strong interest and active participation from the students.
