On February 18, Pamukkale University (PAU) Acıpayam Vocational School organized a Library and E-Resources Training at its conference hall.

The training was delivered by Lecturer Ümran Kandemir, Head of the Reference Services Unit at the Pamukkale University Fuat Sezgin Library, during which important information on the use of library and digital resources was shared with both students and academics.

The training, which was followed with great interest and appreciation, began with practical examples explaining how to benefit from the library both remotely and by visiting in person. It was also demonstrated in practice how to access the library—which offers its members the opportunity to borrow up to five books per month—via the Pusula system.

Detailed information was provided on key platforms and databases such as the Research Methods Training and Application Center (AYEUM), which offers training on how to conduct scientific research; AKAGEV, an academic development database that includes content contributing to academic and personal development; and Turcademy, an e-book platform that provides secure digital access to academic publications. Lecturer Ümran Kandemir also presented instant examples of how each shared resource can be used and answered questions from students and academics.

The training concluded with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation by Head of the Department of Public Finance Dr. Tülay Baran. Following the student-focused session, Kandemir also informed academics about the applications and agreements implemented by the university regarding digital resources.
