The opening ceremony of the workshop, held in the Faculty of Education Foyer Area, was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ersan Öz and Prof. Dr. Mehmet İnel, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. İzzet Kara, as well as numerous families and students. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony with the families, the PAU Theatre Club performed a play titled “Science Theatre.”

Throughout the event, families and students participated together in a wide range of hands-on activities, including entertaining science experiments, microscopic organism observation, fossil examination, STEM workshops, solar observation, seed ball making, herbarium preparation, insect collection, and scientific inquiry-based activities. These interactive sessions provided participants with the opportunity to explore science, understand the nature of scientific knowledge, and discover how science functions in everyday life.

Students from various preschool, primary, and secondary schools across Denizli attended the workshop with their families. They expressed joy in learning science together, enhancing their motivation for science learning while developing their scientific thinking, as well as their critical and creative thinking skills.
