Eighth Edition of the Competition Becomes a Tradition

Organized by the Department of Public Relations and Promotion at PAU Faculty of Communication, the event features project competitions across six categories: Advertising Campaign, Internet Advertising, Social Media Advertising, Outdoor Advertising, TV Script, and Print Advertising. The three-day event adopts purple as this season’s theme color, symbolizing creativity, strength, magnificence, calmness, and prosperity.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Prof. Dr. Ali Soylu, emphasized the value of the work being carried out, stating: “We are doing valuable things, and so are you. This is very meaningful for us. Last week, our students participated in the ‘Terspektif’ event, a competition format developed to offer solutions to Denizli’s water scarcity problem, supported by European Union funds through the European Union Information Center. Our faculty member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seher Argun, also provided significant support during the event. Another positive development took place yesterday with the opening of a computer laboratory donated to our faculty by TUSAŞ Engine Industries Inc. (TEI).” Continuing his remarks on the “AD Project: Creative Ideas Compete” event, Prof. Dr. Soylu noted that students had worked intensively throughout the semester, faced challenges, and held numerous meetings with their instructors before reaching the final stage. “We will see the results of their efforts in the coming days. I would like to thank our course instructor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Bozkurt, the organizing team, the students involved in the organization, and our administrative staff who provided technical support,” he said. Prof. Dr. Soylu concluded his speech by thanking the event sponsor, Marcovisa Agency.
