Rector Kutluhan: "Unfortunately, the centers that are expected to provide justice and security insist on not seeing these, and those who do are either silenced or threatened."

Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan said the following in his speech "Unfortunately, we are witnessing very sad and heartbreaking images these days. In Gaza and Palestine, in front of the eyes of the world, cities are bombed, houses are destroyed, children die, people are condemned to starvation, those who want to help are prevented and new ones are added to these atrocities every day. Unfortunately, the centers that are expected to provide justice and security insist on not seeing these, and those who do are either silenced or threatened. Our university has so far organized 11 events on Palestine and Gaza under the coordination of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and these events are of course a conscientious reflection of a refusal to accept. It is a prayer for Israel's genocide to end as soon as possible, but it is not enough. Here we have gathered today for the opening of the "Imperial Politics in Jerusalem: Public Space and Social Identity Workshop" has given us the opportunity to listen to experts in the field. I sincerely thank our esteemed professors and guests who came to our university for such an event. They will share their knowledge and experience with us. Today we will get more in-depth and detailed information instead of general information. Because we need accurate information about Jerusalem and Palestine more than ever. Today, knowingly or unknowingly, falsehoods have mixed with the truth, and lies have overtaken the truth. I think that the presence of our esteemed professors among us today and the presentations they will make are very important for this reason. I thank them again for their participation and hope that the workshop will be productive."

President of Al-Quds University Foundation Yanılmaz: "The support we give to our university, which is the intellectual stronghold of Jerusalem, is to develop discourses that will eliminate all kinds of insult and rape that our people in the region are exposed to, which will take place in the black pages of history."

M. Yasir Yanılmaz, President of Al-Quds University Foundation, stated the following in his speech: "The main goal of our foundation is to develop discourses that will eliminate all kinds of insult and rape that our people in the region are subjected to in a way that will take place in the black pages of history. As Al-Quds University Foundation, we are working day and night with all our strength to realize the vision of our university as more than a university by giving the necessary importance to the science and knowledge we need in order to realize the vision of our university as more than a university, acting with the sensitivity given to us by Al-Aqsa Mosque, which we care about like a child, and we will continue to work day and night with all our strength so that our university will exist until doomsday. At the end of my words, I would like to say 'Let a Jerusalem power come to your feet' and I would like to thank Pamukkale University faculty member Prof. Dr. Yasemin Avcı, who has made great efforts to bring our workshop on Imperial Politics in Jerusalem to life and who is also the Coordinator of the 'International Jerusalem Certificate Project' that we have carried out under the auspices of the Education Commission of the Jerusalem University Foundation, and I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this special program and I hope that the workshop will be instrumental for good."

We are trying to do our best to raise awareness of Jerusalem-Palestine by opening many more of the exhibitions we opened here today all over the world, both in Europe, America, the Arab world and the Islamic world. First of all, I would like to thank you very much for the hospitality, this is my first time in Denizli, our University, our Rector, Yasemin Hoca and the staff. I hope that the work done here will lead to the liberation and freedom of Jerusalem in a short time, just like in the 11th century and its manifestation in the 12th century in the literature of Jerusalem. On this occasion, I wish our brothers and sisters in Gaza peace in the shortest time possible."
