Buldan Vocational School Students Open an Exhibition at Buldan Beyler Mansion

The works of Pamukkale University (PAU) Buldan Vocational School Architectural Restoration Program students within the scope of the Traditional Housing Architecture Course were opened to visitors at Buldan Beyler Mansion with the 'Space Reading Exhibition through Yeşilçam Films' event.

The student works in the 'Space Reading Exhibition on Yeşilçam Films' supervised by PAU Buldan Vocational School Architectural Restoration Program Lecturer Gamze Sayın and Lect. Erkan Baloğlu, will be exhibited for five days (April 24-28) at Buldan Beyler Mansion. Buldan Mayor Mehmet Ali Orpak, District National Education Director Mustafa Vural, Public Education Director Mehmet Çapacıoğlu, District Police Chief Turgay Temel, Natural Life and DENFOT President Sait Yalçın, Buldan's Textile owner İhsan Dönmez participated in the event, which was attended by Buldan people and students.

Giving information about the event where the works made within the scope of the course were exhibited, Lect. Gamze Sayın gave the following information: "In our exhibition, which we organized with our Buldan Vocational School Social and Cultural Activity Community students and Architectural Restoration Program students, four Yeşilçam Films (Selvi Boylum Al Yazmalım, Joyful Days, Hababam Class, Blue Bead) will be exhibited for five days. In the exhibited student projects, various evaluations were made about reading space through movies. Twenty-nine films were studied. Films between 1965s and 1980s were discussed. Our students worked on historical space project models based on the movies."

Buldan Mayor Mehmet Ali Orpak, Buldan Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Yıldıray Turhan and Buldan Vocational School lecturer Gamze Sayın opened the exhibition together and then the exhibition was visited and information about the works was shared. After visiting the exhibition, a group photo was taken in memory of the day. In addition, in the bazaar organized due to the opening, organized by Lect. Melek Arpacı Gündoğan, various foods were offered for sale on the stalls as well as works such as wood printing bags, cushions and runners prepared by the Fashion Design Program students. The exhibition, which will be open until April 28, 2024, will be open between 17.00-21.00, and movie screenings will be held every evening at 20.00 during the exhibition.
