PAU Tourism Faculty Organizes a Technical Trip to Corendon Touristic
Faculty of Tourism Vice Dean Dr. Serap Alkaya organized a technical trip for students to 'Corendon Touristic', one of the leading tour operators in the Netherlands and Belgium, within the scope of the Travel Agency and Tour Operator course, which is the 2nd year course of the Department of Tourism Management.
On November 9, 2023, the technical trip first went to Corendon Touristic Head Office located in Antalya Güzeloluk neighborhood. Corendon Touristic Operations Manager Niyazi Emir Yıldırır and Vehicle Operations Supervisor Murat Kaplan welcomed the technical trip group and accompanied the group in order for the students to receive an efficient training. Half of the technical tour group was taken to Antalya International Terminal accompanied by company officials to get information about 'arrival' and 'departure' processes. At the same time, the other half of the technical tour group received information about the operation processes in travel agencies from Operations Manager Niyazi Emir Yıldırır and Vehicle Operations Officer Murat Kaplan.
At the end of the training, students found answers to their questions in the question and answer session. At the end of the training, the students visited the units on all floors of the agency and received extra detailed information from the relevant people of the units. After the training, the team coming from the airport went to the training in the office, while the team leaving the training went to Antalya International Terminal to get information about 'arrival' and 'departure' processes.
