PAU Continues Its Activities for Earthquake Victims

The Exhibition and Singing Recital titled "PAU Meets Earthquake Victims in Art Activity" was held at Hasan Kasapoğlu Cultural Center with the cooperation of PAU Faculty of Music and Performing Arts and Faculty of Education, Department of Painting and Art Education.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Ali Değirmenci, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Necip Atar, Prof. Dr. M. Ensar Yeşilyurt, Denizli Youth and Sports Provincial Director Ömer İlman, Denizli Provincial Director of the Ministry of Family and Social Services Kadriye Özer Bici, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. İzzet Kara, Dean of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts Prof. Dr. Efe Akbulut, administrative managers, faculty members and students attended the event.
"PAU Meets Earthquake Victims in Art Activity" event started with the opening and touring of the exhibition consisting of the works of undergraduate, graduate and faculty members. At the exhibition, PAU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan presented a certificate of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Feryal Beykal Orhun, while Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Ali Değirmenci presented flowers.
Rector Kutluhan: "As Pamukkale University, we will always do our part in this regard"
After visiting the exhibition, a singing recital was held. Speaking after the concert, Rector Prof. Dr. Kutluhan said: "We organized this event to let both our earthquake victims and our country know that we have not forgotten and will not forget the earthquakes of Kahramanmaraş Pazarcık and Elbistan, the disaster of the century. Our country mobilized very quickly to heal the wounds of this disaster. It is our greatest desire for Turkey to maintain its unity and solidarity in this way. As Pamukkale University, we will always do our part in this regard. I would like to thank everyone who contributed."
The event ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation and flowers to the artists.
