Intensive Care Nursing Certificate Program Held at PAU Hospitals
'Intensive Care Nursing Certificate Program', which is a new one of the certificate programs that have been actively continuing since 2008, was hosted by Pamukkale University Hospitals.
In her speech at the closing ceremony, Demet Ekici, Director of Nursing Services, said "Due to their complex structure, intensive care units have a very different importance from other service areas for nurses, who are indispensable members of the healthcare team. ICU nursing is one of the most complex and difficult fields of nursing science. We are happy and proud to have carried out one of the certificate programs organized in order to increase the knowledge and experience of nurses working in intensive care units, which include special training and practices, which require the use of current research results and continuous development, and to bring nurses together on an educational platform where they can be equipped in theoretical and practical terms. I wish all the trainees who participated in our program, which we carried out together with our training nurse, that the certificate they will receive will be beneficial and will be instrumental in their future professional lives."
Speaking at the closing program, Assist. Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çelik stated the following: "Like every field of nursing, the contribution of intensive care nursing and certificate programs to the development of the nursing profession is of great importance. I would like to thank all the team who contributed to the program and congratulate all our nurses who have completed their training and wish them good luck."
In the closing program, certificates of participation to the trainees and certificates of appreciation to the trainers were presented by the Hospital Management Members. Within the scope of the program, a slide show prepared from the images obtained during the certificate training process at Pamukkale University Hospitals was also made.
