The "Independence March" prepared by Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan by saying "I wrote it for my country on the road to full independence" was performed for the first time at the 100th Anniversary of our Republic concert organized by Pamukkale University (PAU) within the scope of the 100th Anniversary of the Republic Activities.

The anthem, which was highly appreciated by the audience, was applauded for a long time. Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan, who was invited to the stage by Prof. Dr. Efe Karabulut, Dean of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts at the end of the anthem, said: "I would like to thank the Dean of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts for giving us this beauty with his orchestra. We are an independent country and we will remain independent forever. My esteemed Prof. Dr. Özgün Gülhan composed this anthem in a very short time. I thank you very much for your appreciation. I hope that the National Anthem will not be written again, and that our independence anthem will continue."
The lyrics of the "Independence Anthem" written by Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan are as follows:
Independence March
Sung together for how many centuries
This folk song comes from Malazgirt
On horseback, at Gallipoli, withstanding cannon fire
On July fifteenth, the same
Folk songs come to our minds
The fire of hope comes from my ancestor
Our country is the red apple sun
Turkish justice to sweep the world
This is the sound of peace
It will not be empty
O hill of glorious martyrs, your valor
Our song is eternal in the sky
Indelible traces on land
Independence is nobility
Invincible Turk in this world
Halal like mother's milk
The martyr's blood is on the red flag
Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan demonstrated his versatility once again with the performance of the poem he wrote about his sorrow due to the massacre in Palestine at the event titled "Special Republican Poets Poetry Recital for the Centennial of the Republic" organized by Pamukkale University Faculty of Education.
At the end of the event "Special Republican Poets Poetry Recital for the Centenary of the Republic" organized by the Faculty of Education with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan, the Poetry Society Advisor Lect. Havva Ergür performed for the first time the poem written by our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan, who put his sorrow over the massacre in Palestine on paper.
I Want to Cry
I want to cry I haven't cried for how long
I want to cry I've never wanted to cry so much
I want to cry as if it will be a medicine
All that's inside me will come out by itself
Crying is a blessing for those who cannot cry
If deep feelings cannot emerge
Even though you said you don't cry friend
Maybe it's easier to laugh, grinning
Crying is a prayer when all three are together
When heart, brain, conscience meet at the same time
Let my tears fall and my larynx scream
Moan deep breath banish the dirty tear
