EGEKAF'24 Preparations Continue at PAU

Preparations for EGEKAF'24, which will be hosted by Pamukkale University on February 21-22, 2024, continue at full speed.

Within the scope of the preparations, an online meeting was held with the participation of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Necip Atar, Prof. Dr. Duygu Kızıldağ, Unit Manager of Talent Acquisition and Organization Department of the Presidential Human Resources Office, Career Center Officials of Stakeholder Universities and PAU KARMER officials.

Within the framework of the meeting agenda, PAU Vice Rector and Career Center Director Prof. Dr. Necip Atar stated that the Fair, which was postponed to 2024 as a result of the painful earthquake experience we experienced as a country last year, will be held again in Denizli; in this regard, since last year, there is already a serious accumulation in terms of organization and events. As a matter of fact, Prof. Dr. Atar declared to the officials of the stakeholder universities that the stand area has already reached full capacity in the current operation, and Dr. Gülin Öztaş, Deputy Director of the Career Center, stated that continuous contact with the stakeholder universities will be ensured through the Whatsapp group, which was re-activated before the meeting, and that it is important to inform Pamukkale University immediately about the developments and new arrangements regarding the current activities.

After the opening speech of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Necip Atar and information about EGEKAF'24 processes, Prof. Dr. Duygu Kızıldağ, Unit Manager of the Talent Acquisition and Organization Department of the Presidential Human Resources Office, expressed her demands regarding Talent Gate and student participation.

Prof. Dr. Duygu Kızıldağ, Unit Manager of CBİKO Talent Acquisition and Organization Department, emphasized the possible positive results of a more effective participation by taking into account the university students and graduates who had to migrate from the earthquake zone to the Aegean Region, and stated that increasing participation in the Fair, especially Talent Gate, is a strong motivation for all stakeholder universities. Kızıldağ also emphasized the need for stakeholder universities to urgently organize intercity transportation.

The meeting ended after the stakeholder university representatives took the floor about EGEKAF'24.
