Collective Labor Agreement Signed Between PAU and Health Workers Union

A mutual compromise was reached in the process of collective bargaining agreement negotiations between Pamukkale University Hospitals (PAU Hospitals) affiliated to Pamukkale University Rectorate and the Health Workers Union of Turkey.
At the signing ceremony held at Pamukkale University Rector's Office, the collective bargaining agreement was officially put into effect after the signing ceremony between Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan and Hakan Toy, President of the Health Workers Union of Turkey.
Speaking at the collective bargaining agreement signing ceremony, Hakan Toy, President of the Health Workers Union of Turkey, stated the following: "I believe that both parties sitting at the table are doing their job in the best way and doing what is necessary. There is a saying of Rumi: 'Yesterday is yesterday, my dear, now we need to say new things'. We have signed a contract that will provide the best service to our nation and our staff will be happy. On behalf of our members, I would like to thank Rector Kutluhan and your esteemed committee for their efforts in this process, and we wish them good luck and good luck."
Rector Kutluhan: "Since I personally take care of patients, the cleanliness of the hospital is a very important point in this process"
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan said "As the top administrator of our university and hospital, we are evaluating them in terms of cleanliness. Since I personally take care of patients, the cleanliness of the hospital is a very important point in this process. In addition to being a rector, our hospitals are the place where our own profession is practiced. Therefore, our cleaning staff in the hospital actually stands at a very important point for us at this point, because where there is no cleanliness, there is infection in the hospital. And where there is infection, there is death. Just as we do not keep the patient waiting on the operating table, cleaning should not wait for the same reason. The most important message I would like to give here about cleanliness is that the place and sanction of duties should be determined legally. At this point, I think that the disciplinary regulation should work and our union should assume all kinds of responsibilities. I hope it will be auspicious and beneficial for all of us."
After the parties signed the contract, the signing ceremony ended with a collective photo session.
