As part of the intervention, the PAU Search and Rescue Team assisted in firefighting, cooling, communication, and coordination activities, supporting efforts to contain the blaze on Mount Honaz in Denizli.

Expressing his gratitude to the PAU Search and Rescue Team for their dedicated efforts, Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör said: “We sincerely thank all the teams who are selflessly fighting for our forests, and we hope that disasters of this kind will never occur again in any part of our city or country.”
