The GDZ Energy Call Center Laboratory, the Canan and Sabit Uz Child Development Workshop, and the Hacı Mehmet Ar Study Hall and Cafeteria were officially opened during a ceremony attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör, Acıpayam Chief Public Prosecutor Kürşad Kağan Ergün, Acıpayam Mayor Levent Yıldırım, GDZ Energy executives and employees, philanthropic donors, Acıpayam Vocational School staff, and students.

Prof. Dr. Ali Kurt, Director of Acıpayam Vocational School, who has prioritized workshops and laboratory training that enable students to combine academic education with practical experience and has initiated efforts in this direction since taking office, stated that they were experiencing the justified pride and happiness of seeing these initiatives successfully completed with the support of academic and administrative staff as well as donors. Emphasizing that they attach importance not only to students’ academic education but also to their post-graduation career journeys, Prof. Dr. Kurt noted that they continue this path together with the entire Acıpayam Vocational School family and its stakeholders. He also expressed his gratitude to the PAU Rectorate, all donors, and the academic and administrative staff for their support and participation.

In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör emphasized the importance of such collaborations in strengthening students’ practical education and thanked the donors who contributed to these initiatives. During the opening ceremony, where donor institutions and individuals also delivered speeches, students conducted their first calls in the Call Center Laboratory with Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör. At the ceremony, which attracted strong participation, plaques of appreciation were presented by Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör, Acıpayam Chief Public Prosecutor Kürşad Kağan Ergün, and Acıpayam Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Ali Kurt to GDZ Energy, which established the Call Center Laboratory within the vocational school; to Arkenom Technology, which provided the laboratory’s call center system software; to Sabit Uz of U.M.S Expert Furniture Industry and Architecture, who created the Child Development Workshop; and to Ramazan Ar of Ar Yapı, who made significant contributions to the development of the cafeteria and study areas by supporting students’ social living spaces. Following the opening ceremony, the program concluded with a luncheon.
