The Project of Prof. Dr. Kumsar and His Team Saved 2000 People's Lives

Thanks to Turkey's first international-scale research project to be completed on the examination and evaluation of landslides with multi-parameter monitoring techniques within the scope of natural disasters which began in 1996 and was conducted by Prof. Dr. Halil Kumsar from Pamukkale University Faculty of Engineering, Department of Geological Engineering and his research team, the probable casulties that might happen before the natural disaster in Denizli Babadağ were avoided.
