DEVFEST Excitement at PAU

'DEVFEST 2022', organized by Pamukkale University (PAU) Management Informatics Community within the scope of Google Developer Groups, was held at Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz Congress and Culture Center.
The guests who gave speeches at DEVFEST 2022, which was organized by the Management Informatics Community, one of the active communities of the school, and carried out by important sponsors such as Google, ANY GameLabs, Helphonix, MDP and Webkent Software, gave the participants a feast of knowledge.
The event started with the opening speech of İnci Bayramoğlu, Google Drive Group (GDG) Denizli Manager. Mentioning that more than 50 events have been organized since the first DEVFEST started in 2019, Bayramoğlu informed that gifts and free trainings will be given at the end of the event.
We are ahead of European Countries
During the event, the guests also talked about women's employment and mentioned that Turkey is ahead of other European countries in terms of the ratio of women and men graduating from software engineering and computer engineering.
The GDG team said that their goal is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to get a better experience by using Google technologies and mentioned that the first GDG Game was established in Denizli.
GDG Reached Over 1 Million Users in 2020
GDG team informed that there are 38 GDG Groups in Turkey and Google Games Groups in 100 universities and underlined that they reached 1 million users in 2020.
Stating that they have completed 60% of DEVFEST with the event held at Pamukkale University, the team said, 'The most beautiful thing at the end of the day is to come together and do something. To contribute to the community." and concluded their speeches.
The event lasted throughout the day; the presentations were as follows: Barış Yesugey 'Keynote', Kübra Selçuk 'Flutter and AR', İnci Bayramoğlu 'Evulation of Blockchain Games', Güray Yıldırım 'Kubernetes and Orchestration', Daron Yöndem 'Skyroceting Developer Velocity', Yasin Çetin 'Jatpack Campose', Civan Sözkesen 'Entrepreneurship in Web3', Abdullah Oğuz presented 'How To Use Firebase To Flutter1', Fatih Emre Kalem 'How To Use Firebase To Flutter2', Uygun Bodur 'The Coming Renaissance Web3' and Alper Sarı 'Lets Start The Google Cloud'.
At the end of the event, DEVFEST 2022 came to an end after the prizes were given away in a raffle draw.
