Organized for the first time this year by the Turkish University Sports Federation, the Inter-University Personnel Sports Competitions were held between June 4 and 7, 2026, hosted by Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.

In the organization, which brought together 13 universities, Pamukkale University competed in table tennis, volleyball, and football. At the end of the tournament, the PAU table tennis team won the Türkiye championship, while the volleyball team secured third place in Türkiye, achieving a significant success.

PAU Hospitals staff members Nihal Uyar, Chief of the File Control Unit, and Özgür Karabacak, Chief of the Medical Device Technical Service Unit, who were part of the championship-winning team, presented the championship trophy to Chief Physician Hakan Alkan in the presence of Chief Administrator Murat Taşer and Deputy Chief Physician Nusret Ök.

Chief Physician Professor Hakan Alkan expressed his satisfaction with the achievement and congratulated the champion athletes. Thanking the team members for successfully representing both the university and the hospital, Alkan stated that sporting activities strengthen institutional solidarity, motivation, and team spirit.
