Early Cancer Detection Awareness at Science Festival by PAU Hospitals

The Cancer Early Diagnosis and Counseling Team, representing Pamukkale University (PAU) Hospitals at the Science Festivals, opened an awareness booth to inform citizens about the importance of early cancer detection. A QR code-based digital content application prepared by the team was also made available to visitors.

The Cancer Early Diagnosis and Counseling Team, which participated in the Pamukkale University Science Festivals on behalf of Pamukkale University Hospital, attracted attention with its activities. At the booth set up in the festival area, informational activities were carried out for citizens, raising awareness about the vital importance of early cancer detection.

The brochures prepared by the team were integrated with technology and made accessible via a QR code system. With this application used for the first time at the science festival, it was aimed both to reduce printed brochure costs and to contribute to the digitalization process. Visitors were able to quickly and easily access informational content by scanning QR codes with their mobile phones.

The awareness activities carried out at the booth attracted significant interest with active participation from citizens, while the educational and interactive content was also highly appreciated by visitors.

The Cancer Early Diagnosis and Counseling Team of Pamukkale University Hospital stood out among the most notable booths of the science festival with its informational activities and technology-supported applications. Citizens showed great interest especially in the digital content provided through the QR code system.
