Yeşilçam Movies Come to Life Again in Plans with Student Work

Under the guidance of Lecturer Gamze Sayın, students who examined Yeşilçam films within the scope of Traditional Housing Architecture course, sketched the plan typologies of the residential buildings in the films. The study, in which the students transferred the spaces they saw with limited angles in a movie to the plan by enabling them to perceive them in their entirety, also enabled people from all walks of life to re-experience the Turkish movies that take place in some part of their lives.

The exhibition, which attracted great interest, can be visited at Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz Congress and Culture Center Foyer Area until December 2, 2022.
