'Woman Touch' Exhibition Brings Art Lovers to Stratonikeia

The 3rd traditional textile arts exhibition, named "Woman Touch" by Elibelinde Group, founded under the presidency of Pamukkale University Denizli Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Department of Handicrafts Lecturer Assoc. Dr. Ayşegül Koyuncu Okca, opened in the Ancient City of Stratonikeia, Muğla-Yatağan.
On behalf of the Elibelinde Group, the head of the group, Assoc. Dr. Ayşegül Koyuncu Okca made the opening speech: “We held our last exhibition before the pandemic, which affected the whole world, in the Ancient City of Stratonikeia in 2019. In order to start over from where we left off, we decided to hold our exhibition this year in the ancient city of Stratonikeia. When I made a call to the group members, the professors who are experts in their subjects working at 14 different universities in Turkey; artists who have the Ministry of Culture Intangible Cultural Heritage Carrier artist identification card, and the young artists gladly responded to this call and made the works in the exhibition in a very short time. Thank you very much to each and every one of them. The visit of art lovers to the exhibition, which will be open between 10-17 June 2022, will make us very happy. Today, in addition to our Exhibition event, various workshops will be held in Eskihisar Village Square by our expert teachers. I hope it will be a beneficial event for all art lovers”.
