“University-City Meeting” Leaves a Mark on PAU Textile Engineering Department Career Days
The career days opening program organized by Pamukkale University Engineering Faculty Textile Engineering Department was held with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan.
Rector Prof. Dr. Kutluhan said in his speech: “I would like to thank our companies that participated in our Career Days. I would like our company representatives, who are here on the occasion of career days, to see our laboratories. I want them to observe what we are doing or what we want to do. I am ready to do my best for the good of our university and textile engineering department. As Denizli province is in the top ten in exports, we, as a University, must push the top ten. For this, we must do our best together. We have industrial friends here. Just as our industrialists, for example, develop a towel they produce every year, so we can improve our career days. Let's bring this career days event to the meeting and fair halls of our city with more participation. We have to go forward and improve ourselves in every sense. Another important issue is that we have to present ourselves to our city. If we don't introduce, no one will know about us. We need to express ourselves well to know how many students are here and what is being done.”
After the presentations, the program continued with the interviews with the representatives of the participating companies and the students who will apply for a job.
