"The Past, Present and Future of Turkology Studies" Discussed at PAU

Pamukkale University (PAU) Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature organized two panels titled "The Past, Present and Future of Turkology Studies" within the scope of the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
The first and second panels on the position and importance of Turkish literature and Turkish language studies in the history of the Republic were held on December 8 and 13, respectively, at Prof. Dr. İsmail Çetişli Conference Hall.
The panel titled 'Turkology Studies I', in which academic studies in the fields of New Turkish Literature, Old Turkish Literature and Folklore were discussed throughout the history of the Republic, was organized with the participation of Research Assistant Dr. Didem Gülçin Erdem Kük, Assist. Dr. Kevser Sönmez and Assist. Dr. Metin Akdeniz participated as a speaker. In the panel titled 'Studies in Turkology II', the academic studies carried out in the fields of Old Turkish Language, New Turkish Language and Contemporary Turkish Dialects from the Republican period to the present were discussed by Assist. Dr. Dilek Uzunkaya, Assist. Dr. Gökhan Özcaner and Assist. Dr. Orhan Baldane who made their presentations.
