The "International Turkish Language Day" Designated at the Consultation Meeting of the UNESCO Turkish National Commission hosted by PAU, Announced to the Public

A symposium was held with the cooperation of PAU ALTAY DİLMER, UNESCO Turkey National Commission and Eurasian Writers Union on the anniversary of the reading of the Göktürk Inscriptions, the first known written sources in Turkish history. The works carried out by the UNESCO Turkish National Commission for five or six years, to declare 15 December as the "International Turkish Language Day" by UNESCO, were brought to the agenda at the consultation meeting held within the scope of the symposium hosted by PAU.
