Technology Addiction Event Organized at DSBMYO

Denizli Vocational School of Social Sciences (DSBMYO) students came together at the "Technology Addiction" themed event organized by the Green Crescent within the scope of the student support unit and career planning course.
Green Crescent volunteers Çağla Koç and Funda Gül Topa, who were among the participants of the event, started their training by introducing the institutional structure of the Green Crescent and the Green Crescent Counseling Center. The services offered by the Counseling Center and its support in the fight against addiction were explained to the participants. The training, which also provided detailed information about the mission and fields of activity of the Green Crescent, continued with an explanation of the relationship between the brain and addiction. One of the prominent topics was the types of technology addiction. This topic was explained in an interactive gamified way with the participation of the students. In this way, it was aimed to raise awareness about technology addiction and to raise awareness on this issue.
The training was concluded by giving certificates of appreciation to the participants who participated in the event. The event, in which the participants participated interactively, not only provided important information to the students, but also increased social interaction and helped them make healthier and more informed decisions in their daily lives.
