Pamukkale University (PAU) Atatürk's Principles and Revolution History Research and Application Center organized an e-conference entitled "August 30th Great Victory in its 100th Anniversary" on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of August 30th, Victory Day.

In his speech, he discussed the 30th of August Great Victory story. Talking about what victory means, how it became a national holiday, how the historical process that created the holiday developed and concluded, Prof. Dr. Ercan Haytoğlu drew attention to Great Leader Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's role in the victory and the success of the Turkish army.

He began his speech by noting that the word victory means "great success" in the military sense. Among the important victories in Turkish history, where there were very important victories in the lives of people and states; He cited the Battle of Manzikert in 1071, Myryokephalon in 1076, and the Battle of Dandanakan in 1040. He emphasized that the victory of August 30, the Great Victory of which we celebrate its 100th anniversary today, is a very important victory for the establishment of the Republic of Turkey.
