PAU Students Return from 29th AGEB Culinary Competition with 3 Cups and 26 Medals

Pamukkale University (PAU) Chefs and Pastry Society students were a source of great pride at the 29th AGEB Culinary Competition.

One of the 32 associations affiliated to the Turkish Chefs Federation, the 29th AGEB Culinary Competition organized by the Antalya Gastronomy and Educators Association, organized by the Antalya Gastronomy and Educators Association, took place in Antalya and 15 universities participated in the 29th AGEB Culinary Competition. Patara dessert competition class winner İrem Çetin received gold medal and cup, Merve Gezgin silver medal, Ceren Şimşek bronze medal and Kerem Er bronze medal.
In the Golden Chef competition, Dila Nur Genç, the first in the class, received silver medal and trophy, Buğra Namlıer silver medal, Ömer Zeybek bronze medal, Mustafa Kaan Aydemir bronze medal, Ceren Şimşek bronze medal, Bedirhan Oğuzman bronze medal, Mehmet Akkaya bronze medal.
Merve Gezgin, Ahmet Genç and Furkan Öz from blue homeland fish competition won bronze medals, Mehmet Akkaya, Berfin Boran and Yavuz Öz won bronze medals, Ali Emre Aydemir, Buğra Namlıer and Ceren Şimşek won bronze medals.
Ahmet Lütfi Genç from the Anatolian Eagles meat competition won silver medal and trophy, Doğukan Ulukaya won silver medal, Bilal Emre Köle won bronze medal, Buğra Namlıer won bronze medal, Ali Emre Aydemir won bronze medal.
Dila Nur Genç from the Anatolian women's competition took the silver medal in the 2nd division. In total, they received 3 trophies and 26 medals, making them the team with the most medals in the university classification. All PAU Cooks and Pastry Community and Tavas Vocational School Cookery Program students who achieved degrees in the competition made Denizli and Pamukkale University Administration very proud.
Expressing his feelings about the degrees, PAU Tavas Vocational School Cooking Program Lecturer Nusret Ercan Şenlikci expressed the following: "We would like to thank especially our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan, our Tavas Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Parlas, Head of SKS Department Lecturer Hakan Cantürk very much. The degrees obtained by our students in the competition made us proud and very happy. I congratulate all our students and wish them continued success."
