PAU Students and Jolly Tour Authorities Come together at the Event Organized

Pamukkale University (PAU) Denizli Vocational School of Social Sciences (DSBMYO) and Faculty of Tourism students were informed about the tourism sector by Jolly Tur officials. In the conference; The development of the tourism sector in Turkey, job and career opportunities in travel businesses and accommodation businesses, and current developments in the travel sector were discussed. Assistant Director of Vocational School of Social Sciences Lecturer Dr. Ahmet Çetin, Deputy Director of Vocational School of Social Sciences and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ertaş, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Tourism; Selim Fazlıoğlu, Mediterranean Region Guides Supervisor of Jolly Tour, Erdi Özkoç, Belek Region Supervisor, Kerem Kaçmaz, Side Region Supervisor and Recruitment Specialist Sinem Çifçi and Denizli Vocational School of Social Sciences lecturers Lecturer Dr. Mehmet Yalçın, Lect. Dr. Mükrime Öksüz Demirgubuz and Lect. Dr. Elif Hilal Nazlıoğlu also attended.
After the conference, Jolly Tour officials interviewed students in groups and held job and internship interviews. Drawing attention to the lack of experience that students experience when starting work, the participants stated that the conference and interviews were an important step in increasing their awareness of the sector. The interviews, in which students showed great interest, continued throughout the day.
