In his speech, Dean of PAU Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Osman Özdel emphasized the importance of NRP training and stated that PAU Hospital is proud to host many trainings and meetings.
A newborn's smooth transition to postnatal life requires careful monitoring and correct approaches starting from the fetal stage and extending especially to the first minutes after birth. In 10% of all deliveries, it is necessary to apply different levels of resuscitation steps to the baby in the delivery room, and in 1% of all deliveries, advanced resuscitation is required. The first condition for effective resuscitation is to be prepared. For situations that are unpredictable before birth, which develop suddenly during birth and require resuscitation in the baby, an NRP-certified person who knows the initial steps of resuscitation and PBV application should be present in the delivery room at every birth, even if no risk factors are reported.
After three days of training, certificates were presented to 48 participants and it ended with a group photo shoot.
