PAU Faculty of Tourism Participats in the International Association of Third Age Universities Conference

Pamukkale University (PAU) was represented by Prof. Dr. Serkan Bertan, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, at the "International Conference of the Association of Third Age Universities" organized with the participation of 25 countries from all over the world.
In his opening speech, Dean of PAU Faculty of Tourism Prof. Dr. Serkan Bertan emphasized the importance of Denizli in health tourism and third age tourism. Prof. Dr. Bertan made a presentation titled Denizli Tourism Potential at the International Association of Third Age Universities Conference held on 26-27 May 2023 and gave information about the number of visitors, the development of tourism facilities and geographically marked products about Denizli tourism values.
Prof. Dr. Bertan also gave information about Denizli handicrafts, cultural values, local food, shopping elements, ecotourism activities, ancient cities, historical buildings, caves, plateaus, canyons, waterfalls and lakes in terms of third age tourism.
