PAU Faculty Members and Students Perform a Chamber Music Concert at Mollaahmetler Secondary School

Pamukkale University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts faculty member Prof. Dr. Özgül Gök and her students held a chamber music concert and music talk at Mollaahmetler Village Secondary School in Babadağ district on Wednesday, December 28 between 10.00-12.00.
The event started with the opening speech of School Principal Bülent Solak. Immediately afterwards, Prof. Dr. Özgül Gök had an interview with the students. Prof. Dr. Gök asked questions about classical music and musical instruments to the students present at the concert and chatted with them first.
After the interview, the chamber music concert performed by Group ARCO started. Group ARCO, an ensemble of Prof. Dr. Gök and the students of the Department of Violin Arts, performed the works of composers such as I. Pleyel, F. Gruber, J. Mazas, G. F. Handel and Ş. Çilden's arrangements of folk songs for violin and gave the students a pleasant music concert. Group ARCO's chamber music concert ended with the Tenth Year March.
After the concert, Prof. Dr. Özgül Gök stated that she herself studied in a village school in the first years of her education life and told the students that they should not limit their dreams.
The event ended with School Principal Bülent Solak and Vice Principal Ayşegül Gülhan presenting flowers and plaques to Prof. Dr. Gök and Group ARCO.
