109 female athletes and 155 male athletes from 38 countries participated in the 9th European Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics Individual Championship, and 62 female referees and 85 male referees took part in the championship. A total of four international referees from Turkey took part in the championship, while PAU Sports Sciences Faculty, Recreation Department Lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Mülazımoğlu Ballı was among the four Turkish International referees.

In addition, at the 9th European Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics Individual Championships held in the Seniors category, Turkish National Team athletes represented our country in the best way by winning a gold medal (Ferhat Arıcan) in the men's parallel instrument and a bronze medal (Adem Asil) in the pull up instrument.
