PAU Department of Political Science and Public Administration Among the Best in Turkey

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) has published the "Field-Based Competency Analysis in Universities 2023" report, which comparatively evaluates the performance of two hundred universities of Turkey on the basis of research fields.
Pamukkale University (PAU) Department of Political Science and Public Administration has been ranked among the best departments in Turkey and within Pamukkale University in terms of volume and quality.
The report, in which the Department of Political Science and Public Administration has managed to be among the most competent academic units in Turkey, was created by taking into account the research areas, TUBITAK authorized institution evaluations, "All Science Journal Classification" (ASJC) classification, current needs in Turkey's various policy documents, critical areas for the security of our country, and the education areas of universities.

PAU Department of Political Science and Public Administration was ranked in the first region according to the volume and quality indicators in the field of "public administration" in the TUBITAK report. Thanks to this success in the field of "public administration", the Department of Political Science and Public Administration has found itself in the same class with the most distinguished universities of our country such as Hacettepe University, Istanbul University, Ankara University, Middle East Technical University (METU). In addition to the success achieved, according to Pamukkale University's internal competence map, the fields of "Political Science and International Relations" and "Public Administration" were again in the first region.
